Might I jokingly suggest adding Alexandre Barils "Undoing Suicidism: A Trans, Queer, Crip Approach to Rethinking (Assisted) Suicide" to the book section?
Though with the governments plan to permanently bar MAiD MI-SUMC (Based on a globe and mail report last night), maybe Baril is onto something...
Hello. I hadn't heard of that book before. It's certainly a controversial idea, but it's very hard to argue against the central theme that "suicidal people experience multiple forms of injustice and violence" and "inhumane treatment after expressing their suicidal ideations." I'll have to read it to see how convincing Barils arguments are. Thanks for pointing it out.
My strongest condemnation against Barils proposed framework is the wording he used for it. The ideas inside the proposed framework are good. The name he gives evokes a strong reaction, even from someone like me
Your starting this approach is a great idea. Today it is quite possible for someone to advance their fame and fortune by becoming an anti-MAID advocate.
Since MAID is ultimately about voluntary choice of death it is easy for such advocates to fill their articles and columns with arguments about being pressured to die, being taken advantage of by governments to save money and other bogeymen.
Really appreciate the quiz. I did poorly, but learned from my incorrect answers. Appreciate the explanations after submitting each answer.
Glad you liked it. We did make it a bit difficult on purpose. We'll have another on up for June. Thanks for the support.

It is a bit harsh.
Just saw the Kindle version is on sale for $0.00. No excuse not to read it now.
