We’re going to try something a little different in September: an Ask Us Anything.
And we really do mean anything. If there’s something you’ve wanted to ask us about MAiD, send it our way. Questions about eligibility, assessments, safeguards, the law, what actually happens during a MAiD provision, common misconceptions, or something you’ve heard or read and want us to unpack are all welcome.
You can also ask us about palliative and end-of-life care. Both of us have lots of experience in palliative care, and we think it’s an important part of any thoughtful discussion about MAiD.
Or ask us about our work: how we got involved in MAiD, what it’s like doing this work, why we started MAiD in Canada, how we approach misinformation, things we’ve learned along the way, or questions about our own perspectives on MAiD.
Basically, if you’re curious about it, ask.
We’ll keep the submission form open until the end of August. In early September, we’ll sit down together and record a video answering as many of your questions as we can. We’ll also publish a written follow-up with our answers for those who would rather read than watch.
Submit your question at the link below or by scanning the QR code.
